Whilst going through the processes of starting a business and the acquisition to a multi-national company gave us incredible insight into the business and product development strategies needed to be successful. Also talking with other SME owners, it was obvious that their focus is on maintaining the day to day operations of the business with little or no regard for the business or product strategies required for sustainable growth.
If there was a virtual business development team that could be utilised when required to assist with developing the business and product strategies, building a business plan, implementing both, monitoring and controlling the process when required, it would make life so much easier for any SME owner.
